Death Cab for Cutie’s Benjamin Gibbard has announced a 7″ and is bringing “Ichiro’s Theme” to streaming platforms.
Death Cab for Cutie’s Benjamin Gibbard, and the supergroup, The Baseball Project, will come together to announce a 7” consisting of their Ichiro Suzuki-inspired tracks to celebrate the former Seattle Mariners player's induction into the National Baseball Hall of Fame. Gibbard contributes “Ichiro’s Theme,” while The Baseball Project shares “Ichiro Goes to the Moon.” Proceeds will benefit the Seattle-based non-profit, Teen Feed, which is dedicated to fighting youth homelessness.
