My week of bad sports karma continues. This time in person. Was a good game at least — unsure how to appease sports karma gods into letting me out of the dog house.
For as long as I can remember I’ve had this habit of pacing while thinking — often while needing something in my hands to play with. Picked up this little guy to be my new thinking ball after the cat destroyed my previous tennis ball friend.
He sure looks excited to be cuddled. 30 lbs heavier and I’m convinced he’d eat all our faces.
Happy birthday mom! Thanks for all those years you’d play make believe with me … and even now, you’re still being a dinosaur with me. I love you.
