Merry Christmas

I just wanted to take a moment to wish everyone who celebrates a Merry Christmas and a happy holiday. I hope everyone has a wonderful day filled with friends, family, and good food and drinks. 2017 has been interesting, but it’s almost over. We’ll have our annual “best of 2017” feature ready to run early in January. All of us are building our lists.

I know the holidays can also be a difficult time for many, just know that our community is here for you and there’s a bunch of resources online if you need someone to talk to.

Become a Supporting Member

Once a week I make a simple pitch to everyone that reads this website: if you like it, could you help support us? Running this website is my full-time job and it’s because of readers like you that we can remain independent and keep publishing. There’s a few different tiers of support that work out to basically pennies a day. And being a supporter comes with cool perks (like Dark Mode, special forum enhancements, and much more), but beyond that your support means this website and forum can continue to exist. You can learn more here.

Thank you to all of our current supporters and all the readers that make this website possible. I love running it, and it’s because of all of you that I truly feel like I have the greatest job in the world. Thank you.

Mutant League

My thanks to Mutant League Records for sponsoring the website this week. The label recently celebrated a 5-year anniversary and released a free compilation as a celebration. First, a huge congrats to the label for making it five years. I know how much time and effort went into getting here. Second, go grab the compilation on Bandcamp. It’s free, and full of new music to check out.
