Brainwasher is the debut brainchild of Matthew Duckworth Kirksey (vocals, drums, keys, sampler) and Tommy McKenzie (guitar, bass, keys, sampler), whose names you might recognize from celebrated projects like The Flaming Lips. Today, the band has released the lead single and video for “At Least It Beats An Actor,” from their forthcoming debut LP, 39 Lightyears From Heaven, that releases on October 24, 2025.
