Mae have signed with Equal Vision Records. They plan to release new music next year and have released limited vinyl variants of Destination:Beautiful.
Indie Rock duo Mae is ready for the next chapter. The band is excited to announce they’ve signed with Equal Vision Records and plans to release new music early next year, the first new music in over 5 years. Mae vocalist, David Elkins, is currently producing the new album this fall and winter at his studio, Schematic Studios, in Nashville, TN. With two decades plus as a band, the Norfolk, Virginia natives wrote their first song “Embers and Envelopes” in their living room, the standout single on their debut album, Destination:Beautiful. Amid the success of the album, Mae performed on the Vans Warped Tour as well as support for Foo Fighters, Weezer, and The Fray, among others over the course of their career. To coincide with the announcement, Mae is launching a 20-year re-press of Destination:Beautiful on vinyl to celebrate signing to Equal Vision and the anniversary.
