The All-American Rejects Announce ‘SuperFan’ Series

All American Rejects

The All-American Rejects will be releasing a new micro-drama series SuperFan.

The bite-sized show will run to 31 episodes and be available on the CandyJar microdrama platform.

Kidnapped by a deranged fan, The All-American Rejects are forced to finish their album under pressure – while the internet watches the chaos unfold. SuperFan is a high-intensity, dark-comedy micro-drama built for vertical platforms. Told in short, cliffhanger-driven episodes, the series follows the band trapped in by an unhinged fan who believes she’s “saving” them by forcing them to create. As the story escalates from basement captivity to full-blown livestream chaos, the line between fandom and obsession collapses, mirroring real internet behavior in an exaggerated, bingeable format.

Produced alongside Poster Child Pictures, the project marks a new creative chapter for the band, blending serialized short-form storytelling with music rollout strategy in a way that taps directly into the rise of micro-drama content consumption and fan-driven digital fandom culture. Deeply involved from development through production, the band is embracing the same DIY spirit that has defined this new era of their career. Rather than simply lending their music or name, they are helping build a new kind of storytelling experience designed specifically for the evolving vertical space.

Additional collaborators include: acclaimed music video and micro-drama producer/director Michael Reich, veteran television producer Chris Collins (And Just Like That, The Affair, The Sopranos), acclaimed unscripted producer John Salicido (Welcome to Wrexham, Below Deck, Undercover Boss), trailblazing costume designer Mona May (Clueless, Romy and Michele’s High SchoolReunion), Anna Lore (All American, Final Destination Bloodlines), and legendary director Catherine Hardwicke.
