The Wonder Years have shared a new version of “Wyatt’s Song (Your Name).”
Philadelphia’s The Wonder Years share a stunning reimagining of “Wyatt’s Song (Your Name),” a deeply personal track written by frontman Dan Campbell for his older son, Wyatt. The original is from their critically-acclaimed album The Hum Goes On Forever, and the new version appears on Burst & Decay Vol. III, out May 9 via Hopeless Records; and its emotional core shines through a stripped-back, lo-fi lens. Anchored by a recording of Wyatt’s actual in-utero heartbeat acting as the track’s metronome, this rendition adds an even more intimate layer to an already heartfelt song.
