Craft Recordings has announced eight limited-edition vinyl reissues: Born Jamericans, Isaac Hayes, Joe Bataan, Max Roach, Norma Jean and legendary film composer Angelo Badalamenti. New titles also include a 2-LP survey of Curtis Mayfield’s early years as singer, songwriter and producer, plus the latest sonic journey from Jazz Dispensary. Craft Recordings Announces Their Eight Exclusive Record Store Day ’24 Titles

After the recent news of Record Store Day 2024’s list of exclusive releases for indie record stores across the U.S., Craft Recordings has also announced their full slate of vinyl titles. Limited-edition LPs include At The Drive-In’s In/CASINO/OUT, Collective Soul’s Dosage, and the vinyl debut of Filter’s The Very Best Things collection, among others. Record Store Day will take place on April 20th, 2024.

Craft Recordings Announces Their Record Store Day ’23 Releases

This year’s Record Store Day features several new LPs from Craft Recordings. Among this year’s offerings is an exclusive picture disc that celebrates the 40th-anniversary of the Violent Femmes and their 1983 self-titled debut (limited to 6,000 copies), the first vinyl reissue of Jonathan Richman’s acclaimed 1990 LP, Jonathan Goes Country (limited to 5,000 copies on Red Cowboy Boot vinyl). Fans of Travis, meanwhile, will enjoy The Invisible Band (Live) (limited to 5000 copies; 2-LP; Clear Vinyl), which finds the Scottish band celebrating the 20th anniversary of their bestselling album with a hometown concert. Record Store Day occurs this spring on April 22nd, 2023.
