House of Heroes to Play ‘The End Is Not the End’ Show

House of Heroes

House of Heroes have announced a reunion show in Columbus, Ohio:

On Dec. 28, they’ll play “The End Is Not the End,” their breakthrough album, from front to back, which has charted in the top 20 of Billboard Christian albums.

“There was a lot of labor to get it done and released,” Skipper said.

Skipper said the band plans to put out an EP with three new songs and two re-imagined, previously released songs, but don’t regularly plan to tour after the Columbus show.

House of Heroes’ Album Gets Sent Out Early

House of Heroes

While House of Heroes’ new album, Colors, doesn’t come out until July 1st, it looks like Amazon messed up and sent out some copies early. Due to this error the band will be sending out digital copies to backers on Monday.

July 1 is the official release date for COLORS. There was a glitch with the release date at Amazon, and 55 CDs got mailed out early unfortunately. This is incredibly disappointing, and we are very sorry to you faithful IndieGogo supporters that this has happened. We will be sending your digital copy of the record on Monday, and we really hope you enjoy it!

Review: House of Heroes – The End is Not the End

House of Heroes - The End is Not the End

These are troubled times we face in the world today. The turbulent stage we as not only a nation, but a world are currently helplessly cascading through is not easy. Lies fill the airwaves, trust for your government cannot be formed, truth is slowly dwindling away. What can we do, as citizens, to diminish our fears? What can we do to press on and keep hope alive?

We can press play.

That’s right – we can find a proper soundtrack that fits into our woeful and dire needs of something strong, something fearless, something honest … and House of Heroes just might be that answer we all need. The basic pop-music structure/formula is fading faster than the Yankees’ payroll – and giving off about the same results: expecting something big, yet getting nothing in return. House of Heroes aims to change this notion with their (technically) fourth proper full-length release, The End is Not the End. Heck, it’s right there in the album title: the end is not the end. Speaks volumes, doesn’t it? The resurrection of one’s true and eternal belief in all that is, will be and ever was … in popular music. And life in general too, I guess.
