If you listen, you can also make out the beginning of the “Safe In Your Skin” from 2011’s Shed. Could it be? Could their indefinite break be over? Is God real?
Well, no. Turns out it was a stunt pulled by Leeds hardcore group Static Dress. The four-piece played a secret set and trolled the crowd with something that was too good to be true. After several seconds the blurred words come into focus as Static Dress, which is then followed by the flash of “SORRY.” They then introduced themselves as “Guilt Trip” and began their set with “Nostalgia Kills,” off their recent album Injury Episode, which dropped this past May via Sumerian Records. People were not pleased and proceeded to leave the crowd, some shaking their heads in disappointment.
