Less Than Jake and Kill Lincoln have teamed up for a new split due out on June 25th.
The ska-punk legends in Less Than Jake are teaming up with new tone up-and-comers Kill Lincoln for the genre-spanning split of the summer. Featuring two fiercely instant classics, Wavebreaker #1is the first in a series of split 7-inch's from Bad Time Records meant to bridge the gap between the third wave and the current ska-punk resurgence. Wavebreaker #1 isavailable for pre-order now in three color variations (which all include a custom enamel 45 adapter), along with a pre-sale exclusive t-shirt. The split will be available on all streaming platforms on Friday June 18. Side A features Less Than Jake’s new song “Need Some Shaking”; a high-powered horn-driven anthem where singer Chris Demakes explores the perils of stagnation, topped off with a signature Roger Lima ear-worm chorus. Side B features “Going Under” by Kill Lincoln; filled to the brim shout-able singalongs, circle pit inducing ska breaks, and the band’s signature blend of melodic hardcore that bubbles over into a frenzied breakdown. The songs show each band at the top of their game and feel right at home side by side with each other.
