New Elvis Presley and Royal Philharmonic Orchestra Album Coming in October
Legacy Recordings will release a new Elvis Presley album titled, The Wonder Of You: Elvis Presley With The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, on October 21st, 2016. The album follows last year’s If I Can Dream — which sold over a million copies. The full press release can be found below and the first single “A Big Hunk O’ Love” can be streamed here.

Third Eye Blind to Release New EP in October
Third Eye Blind will release their new EP, We Are Drugs, on October 7th. The EP will have 7 songs and be released online, frontman Stephen Jenkins described the recording process:
“We also allowed ourselves freedom on We Are Drugs from any definitions or guidelines of what we were supposed to be. We just took joy in getting in a big room together and letting music happen and then chasing it around wherever it led us. It is one of the most freeing recording experiences I have had.”

Peter Gabriel has debuted the new song “The Veil” on BBC Radio 6. The track was inspired by the upcoming Snowden film. Peter had this to say about the song:

Snowden’s revelations shocked the world and made it very clear why we need to have some way to look over those who look over us. With increasing terrorist attacks, security is critical, but not without any accountability or oversight.
I was very happy to learn Oliver Stone had decided to make a film about Edward Snowden and believe this is a powerful and inspiring film.
Oliver takes his music very seriously and I have always enjoyed collaborating with him and [music supervisor] Budd Carr.
