Pop Etc. – “Broken Record” Video

Pop Etc. have released a video for their new song “Broken Record.” The band will release the new album, Half, in Japan on October 3rd. The full press release is below.

Today, POP ETC debut their new song “Broken Record,” the latest track in their “Infinite Singles Collection.” Said lead singer and songwriter, Chris Chu, about their new song: “Time has been moving in strange ways lately and everyone seems to be talking about how surreal life is these days. It’s a roller coaster, and occasionally it’s monotonous at the same time. I can never seem to make sense of the rhythm, like a reoccurring dream that always ends a little too soon. We wrote a new song I think it’s about this feeling. It’s called “Broken Record.” The track is the latest release from the band’s “Infinite Singles Collection,” which delivers new releases from POP ETC in batches of one or two songs every four to six weeks. The band have also announced the release of their new Japanese album, Half, on October 3rd via Sony Music Japan. The name for POP ETC’s new album was inspired in part by Chris and his brother John having both a Chinese father and American mother, and “by the different aspects of our own identity,” Chris says. The album is also dual in nature, and the first half features acoustic composition and production, while the second half was produced electronically. The physical version of the album is available only in Japan, and the digital version will be available worldwide. More information [here](http://popetcetera.com/category/japanese/).
