The set earned 233,000 equivalent album units in the U.S. in the week ending May 7, according to Nielsen Music/MRC Data.
YoungBoy Never Broke Again has the number one album in the country this week:
YoungBoy Never Broke Again scores his second No. 1 album on the Billboard 200 chart, as his latest release, 38 Baby 2, bounds in atop the tally. The set arrives with 67,000 equivalent album units earned in the U.S. in the week ending April 30, according to Nielsen Music/MRC Data.
DaBaby has the number one album in the country:
DaBaby collects his second No. 1 album on the Billboard 200 chart, as Blame It on Baby bows atop the tally. The set, which was released on April 17 via SouthCoast/Interscope Records, earned 124,000 equivalent album units in the U.S. in the week ending April 23, according to Nielsen Music/MRC Data.
The rapper previously led the list with his last album, Kirk, which launched at No. 1 with 146,000 units (Oct. 12, 2019-dated chart).
The Weeknd has the number one album in the country this week:
The set jumps in with the year’s biggest week for any album: 444,000 equivalent album units in the U.S. in the week ending March 26, according to Nielsen Music/MRC Data. The sum also marks The Weeknd’s personal weekly best.
In the week ending March 19, overall album sales fell 29% to 1.52 million, according to Nielsen Music/MRC Data. That number combines sales of all formats of albums: digital albums, CDs, vinyl LPs, cassettes and so forth.
1.52 million is the smallest number of albums sold in a week since the firm began tracking music sales in 1991. The previous Nielsen/MRC Data-era low for overall album sales came only earlier this year, when 1.65 million were sold in the week ending Jan. 16.
Lil Uzi Vert once again has the top album in the country:
Lil Uzi Vert’s Eternal Atake secures a second week at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 albums chart, as the set earned 247,000 equivalent album units in the U.S. in the week ending March 19, according to Nielsen Music/MRC Data. That’s down just 14% compared to its debut atop the list a week ago with 288,000 units.
Lil Uzi Vert has the number one album in the country this week:
The set was released on March 6 via Generation Now/Atlantic, and starts with 288,000 equivalent album units earned in the U.S. in the week ending March 12, according to Nielsen Music/MRC Data. It’s the rapper’s first release in nearly two-and-a-half years, since his first leader, Luv Is Rage 2, bowed at No. 1 on the Sept. 17, 2017-dated chart with 135,000 units.
Lil Baby has the number one album in the country this week:
Lil Baby lands his first No. 1 album on the Billboard 200 chart as My Turn debuts atop the tally with the biggest streaming week of 2020 for an album.
The set, which was released via Quality Control/Motown on Feb. 28, earned 197,000 equivalent album units in the U.S. in the week ending March 5, according to Nielsen Music/MRC Data.
BTS have the number one album in the country this week.
Map of the Soul: 7 storms in atop the tally with 422,000 equivalent album units earned in the U.S. in the week ending Feb. 27, according to Nielsen Music/MRC Data. Of that sum, 347,000 are in album sales. It’s the fourth No. 1 in less than two years for the seven-member South Korean pop group.
Halsey’s Manic is the first platinum-certified album of 2020.
Justin Bieber has the top album in the country this week:
Justin Bieber scores his seventh No. 1 album on the Billboard 200 chart as Changes debuts atop the tally. The set, which was released on Feb. 14 via SchoolBoy/Raymond Braun/Def Jam Recordings, earned 231,000 equivalent album units in the U.S. in the week ending Feb. 20, according to Nielsen Music/MRC Data.
Roddy Ricch once again has the number one album in the country this week.
Rock band Green Day collects its 11th top 10 effort, as Father of All… arrives at No. 4 with 48,000 equivalent album units earned. Of that sum, 42,000 are in album sales, enhanced by purchases of merchandise/album bundles via the group’s webstore.
Lil Wayne has the number one album in the country this week:
Funeral is the fifth leader for Lil Wayne, and it enters with 139,000 equivalent album units earned in the U.S. in the week ending Feb. 6, according to Nielsen Music/MRC Data. The album was released on Jan. 31 via Young Money/Republic Records and follows Lil Wayne’s chart-topping Tha Carter V, which was released in 2018.
Roddy Ricch has the number one album in the country:
