One LA film source said: ‘Daniel is done — pure and simple — he told top brass at MGM after Spectre. They threw huge amounts of money at him, but it just wasn’t what he wanted.’ He added: ‘He had told people after shooting that this would be his final outing, but the film company still felt he could come around after Spectre if he was offered a money deal.’

The Hollywood Reporter has revealed that Michael B Jordan will be joining the cast of Black Panther:
Michael B Jordan will reteam with his Creed director Ryan Coogler for Marvel Studios’ Black Panther, inking a deal to join movie’s buzzy cast, The Hollywood Reporter has learned. This would be the third time that Jordan will work with Coogler, who is helming the comic book movie as well as writing the script with Joe Robert Cole.

Space Jam Sequel With LeBron James Is Happening
Rebecca Ford, writing for The Hollywood Reporter, is reporting that a Space Jam sequel starring LeBron James has been green lit by Warner Brothers.
Justin Lin and Andrew Dodge are ready to shoot some intergalactic hoops with LeBron James. The Fast & Furious 6 and Star Trek Beyond helmer is in talks to direct Warner Bros.’ sequel Space Jam 2 while Dodge will write.
The Punisher is Coming to Netflix
The Punisher is getting his own series on Netflix.
EW has learned that Marvel has ordered a spin-off starring vigilante character introduced in Daredevil season 2. Jon Bernthal will reprise his role as vengeful military veteran Frank Castle, who brings his own lethal form of justice to Hell’s Kitchen.
Writer and executive producer Steve Lightfoot (Hanniba, Casualty) will serve as showrunner.
