Travis Barker of Blink-182 wrote in Runners World about how important exercise is to him:
I’ve been sober since the accident, but I’ve replaced all of my bad addictions with good ones. Now, I get high off running.
I just love running. It makes me feel like I can conquer anything that comes at me. I’m never tapped out. I’m never tired around my two kids. I owe a lot of that to running.
Travis Barker of Blink-182 appeared on the TV show “The Doctors” on Monday to talk about recovering from a deadly plane crash in 2008. Some clips from the show can be seen on Huffington Post:
“The doctors said, ‘You’re probably going to be on most of these drugs for the rest of your life because you went through such a horrific experience, and you’re dealing with bipolar disorder. You’ll probably never play drums again, you’ll never run again,’” he recalled on the program this week.
“Then the challenge was in my mind just to prove them wrong,” he said. “I had to wean myself off of every drug, start playing the drums immediately, run, and then I became even healthier than I ever was before the plane accident.”

Travis Barker of Blink-182 fame has a new spot to bang his drum in Calabasas. He just bought a Mediterranean home that sits on nearly half an acre corner lot on a private street for $2.825 million. He also owns another house in the gated community.

Travis Barker of Blink-182 performed “All Due Respect” with Run the Jewels at last night’s show in Los Angeles.
Travis Barker of Blink-182 appears on the latest episode of the Rich Roll Podcast.
Travis Barker was on “The Kevin & Bean Show” to talk about his Musink festival. He mentioned that Blink-182 have 13 songs recorded for the new deluxe version of California, and that they want to release the deluxe version now while the album is still doing well and not hold the songs until the end of 2018 which would have been the earliest they could release a new album. He also mentioned recording a new Goldfinger album with John Feldmann, so, that’s some news.

GQ has an extensive profile on Travis Barker of Blink-182. This passage about the possibility of a Box Car Racer reunion sure is interesting:
I think we were both under the impression in the beginning that it was going to be a Blink album. Then it was like, no let’s do this cool little side project, but we won’t put an album out. Then the label heard it and wanted to put it out. Then there wasn’t going to be a tour, but they were like ah, you can do this tour. It just spiraled out of control. . . But I don’t know. [Mark’s] not in the band, so would it cause a lot of problems? Would it not? I have no idea. It’s something I can’t even wrap my head around just because I’m so proud of this album that we’re currently supporting. But I love Box Car. It was a cool album and cool sound.

Travis Barker was on Radio X this morning talking about Blink-182 and the band’s new single “Bored to Death.” He talks about having no “bad blood” with Tom DeLonge and that the label were the ones that picked the first single. He described the album as a mix between Enema of the State and Untitled. The full audio can be found below.
