Linkin Park have landed their sixth number one album:
The set earned 111,000 equivalent album units in the week ending May 25, according to Nielsen Music. Of that sum, 100,000 were in traditional album sales. The album is Linkin Park’s seventh studio effort, and was released on May 25 through Machine Shop/Warner Bros. Records.
Linkin Park’s Chester Bennington thinks fans should “move the fuck on” from Hybrid Theory:
“If you like the music, fantastic. If you don’t like it, that’s your opinion too. Fantastic. If you’re saying we’re doing what we’re doing for a commercial or monetary reason, trying to make success out of some formula… then stab yourself in the face!” he laughed.

Nova Rock Festival takes place from 14-17 June at Nickelsdord Pannonia Fields in Austria.
