Panic! at the Disco have the number one album in the country this week:
Pray for the Wicked — which was released on June 22 via DCD2/Fueled by Ramen — launches with 180,000 equivalent album units earned in the week ending June 28, according to Nielsen Music. Of that sum, 151,000 were in traditional album sales. Both figures represent the biggest week for an alternative rock album in 2018.
Panic! at the Disco performed “Say Amen,” “I Write Sins…,” and “High Hopes” on The Today Show. He was also interviewed for the show.

Coming off the successful and Grammy-nominated Death of a Bachelor album, Panic! is well equipped for the demands being put forth by their eager audience. If Death of a Bachelor was the self-reflective album of Urie’s career, then Pray for the Wicked is the full-blown party album.
