Patrick Stump recently performed “Spotlight” with Michael Day.
It’d been fifteen years since we’d last performed this song together. In fact, it’d been fifteen years since we’d last played any music at all with one another. At least, with Patrick, Matt and I all playing together in the same room. So when I was thinking about what we might record during this session/reunion, this song became an obvious choice.
