Second, they’ve announced special Record Store Day pressings from Alkaline Trio, Senses Fail, and Thrice. And, they’ve announced new pressings from The Anniversary, Balance and Composure, and Bad Suns. The full press release is below.

In celebration of its 25-Year Anniversary, seminal California record label Vagrant Records has announced special Record Store Day (June 12th) titles from Alkaline Trio, Senses Fail, and Thrice, and a first wave of vinyl re-issues of fan-favorite albums from The Anniversary, Balance and Composure, and Bad Suns –PRE-ORDER HERE. For the first time ever, a portion of Vagrant’s catalogue is also now available via Bandcamp HERE. A full list of confirmed releases and dates can be found below, with more Bandcamp titles and vinyl reissues to be announced throughout the year, and Full Time Hobby will be releasing select titles in the UK and Europe.

Vagrant has also shared news of its new podcast – Vagrant Records: 25 Years on the Streets – hosted by The Get Up Kid’s Matt Pryor (STREAM THE TRAILER HERE). Serving as an oral history on the label, the podcast sees Pryor speaking with Vagrant artists, fans, and insiders and sharing behind-the-scenes stories. The series kicks-off on June 2nd with new episodes to follow via DSPs. Guests include co-founder Rich Egan, Trever Keith (Face To Face), Chris Carrabba (Dashboard Confessional), Matt Skiba (Alkaline Trio), Buddy Nielsen (Senses Fail), Derek Grant (Alkaline Trio), Riley Breckenridge & Dustin Kensrue(Thrice), The Get Up Kids, Adrianne Verhoeven (The Anniversary), Mark Hoppus (Blink-182), chef Graham Elliot, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, Craig Finn (The Hold Steady), Amy Fleischer (Fiddler Records), Andy Hull (Manchester Orchestra), chef Danny Bowien (Mission Chinese), John Reis (Rocket From The Crypt), Francis Mark (From Autumn To Ashes) and more.

Formed in 1996 by co-founders Rich Egan and Jon Cohen with the release of the West x North-South 5 x 7” boxset (featuring Face To Face, Samiam, Tilt, Seaweed and more), Vagrant Records saw its first big break with the signing of The Get Up Kids and the release of the band’s 1999 breakthrough album Something to Write Home About. In a time when major labels were feeling the financial squeeze of slumping sales, the Santa Monica-based Vagrant Records grew to shape the independent punk and emo music scene for generations to come – signing acts like Dashboard Confessional, Alkaline Trio, Senses Fail and Thrice and bringing commercial success to an otherwise niche genre.

Over the span of its 25-years as a label, Vagrant has continued to be at the forefront of sonic shifts in the music industry – introducing North America to The 1975 via the band’s wildly successful debut album, and singing a myriad of genre-bending pioneers like Mayer Hawthorne, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros, Justin Townes Earle, and PJ Harvey.

Vagrant Records will continue to celebrate its 25-Year Anniversary all year long with vinyl reissues, catalogue-spanning offerings on Bandcamp, the launch of its oral history podcast – Vagrant Records: 25 Years on the Streets – and much more.
