I had the opportunity to photograph The Starting Line’s show in Denver, CO over the weekend. You can find the full gallery below and I hope you enjoy.
In March of this year I was lucky enough to photograph the Japandroids and Craig Finn in Seattle on Saturday, March 18th at the Neptune Theater. It was a sold out show with no barricade for the photographers to be in front of, so things definitely got rowdy when the Japandroids started. You’ll find the gallery below.
What can I say? Warped Tour is Warped Tour. My older brother took me to my first in ’98 and every year I tell myself this is going to be my last. As a photographer I have become pretty complacent when shooting Warped, since everyone seems to get the same images as everyone else. This year I tried to focus on getting more isolated portraits, while still capturing Warped in its typical form. I am pretty proud of how a lot of these came out as my goal was to get some images that you couldn’t necessarily identify with the traditional Warped Tour photos. Hope you enjoy.
As Riot Fest wraps up this year, I have one question: when is it not festival season? I feel as if we’ve transitioned into an era where festivals and big bills are the new trend. I’ve attended and photographed four “festivals” this year alone and Riot Fest was one of the more enjoyable to shoot. The festival was easy and accessible — which isn’t always the case. Below you’ll find images of Thursday, Underoath, Glassjaw, and many more.
The Taste of Chaos tour may be all wrapped up, but I was fortunate to be able to capture some images from their stop at the famous Red Rocks in Morrison, CO. I have been to quite a few shows here, but this one is at the top of my favorites, based on nostalgia alone.
Seeing the lineup of Dashboard Confessional, Taking Back Sunday, Saosin, and The Early November was surreal to say the least. Some of the first times I photographed many of these bands was in the early 2000’s, before radio or television had taken their careers to new levels. After seeing these bands in venues with only other bands, and maybe a few fans watching, it was amazing to see them on stage in one of most iconic venues in the world. I’m going to split these galleries up by the different bands, and today’s gallery is for Dashboard Confessional. You’ll find the photos below.
It’s been a few months since I captured images of Self Help Fest 2016 in San Bernadino, CA, but what can I say? Time flies! But better late than never. Check out the gallery below featuring images of A Day to Remember, The Wonder Years, Underoath, August Burns Red, Yelawolf, Letlive., Further Seems Forever, and more.
