Crossy Road: The Disney Version

Crossy Road has released a Disney version of their iOS game. The launch trailer can be found on YouTube or by hitting read more. The Verge, with more:

Disney Crossy Road goes in a different direction. While the first area is exactly the same as the world from the original game, the rest are all based on different Disney properties and feature new gameplay characteristics to suit them. Some of the changes are just visual — in the Lion King world you’re avoiding charging animals instead of cars — while others are twists on the Crossy Road formula. In the Tangled world you have to avoid barrels falling down a hill, while Inside Out tasks you with collecting colorful memory orbs.

Forever Came Calling in Van Accident

Forever Came Calling were involved in a van accident yesterday. A GoFundMe page has been set up for donations.

After finishing up a great tour with Major League and Sudden Suspension, early yesterday morning our van was struck by a semi truck while it was parked in St. Louis. The truck dragged the van up the street before stopping, ripping apart the front end and warping the front axle. Thankfully, no one was in the van and no one was hurt in the accident. Unfortunately, the van is most likely totalled. Although the van was insured, that will not cover the cost to rent a vehicle to start and finish our run with Man Overboard or to purchase a vehicle for future touring. We do everything we can to be a self sufficient unit, but this accident caught us by complete surprise. Making this tour happen pushed the band to our personal financial limits. That’s why we’d like to ask for your help. Any size donation helps and will go straight to helping us finish our current tour and staying on the road in the future.

Kesha’s Rape and Abuse Claims Dismissed

All but one of Keshaʼs legal claims against Dr. Luke were dismissed by a judge. From Marc Hogan, at Pitchfork:

On Kesha’s claims that Dr. Luke violated the New York statutes commonly known as “hate crime” laws, Kornreich ruled that Kesha failed to allege Dr. Luke “harbored animus toward women or was motivated by gender animus when he allegedly behaved violently toward Kesha.” The judge added, “Every rape is not a gender-motivated hate crime.”
