BETS and van Bosch – “All Heart” (Song Premiere)

Today is a great day to share the new collaborative single from alt-pop star BETS called “All Heart.” The track features a great collaboration from van Bosch, and is the first release from BETS upcoming LP. BETS shared, “This song is a love letter to the voices demanding a future right now.” If you’re enjoying the premiere, please consider pre-saving the single here.

”All Heart” was created with your longtime friend and creative collaborator, van Bosch. How did the two of you first meet and how has that creative relationship evolved over the years?

We were both working away in our own little bubbles, hit a bit of a wall, and realized we could just join forces to figure out how to move forward. We started mapping out the missing pieces, trading creative ideas, and bringing out the elements we couldn’t quite find on our own.

This song grew out of both your friendship and conversations around climate activism. At what point did you realize those discussions had become a song rather than just a shared passion, and what did each of you bring to ‘All Heart’ creatively?

The climate emergency is something we both feel so strongly about. It’s terrifying, but also incredibly empowering that people are actually fighting back. We were having these heavy chats, and at some point, that collective energy just spilled into the music. It stopped being a shared worry and became a feeling we needed to capture, like a love letter to that spirit of resistance.

You describe ‘All Heart’ as ‘not just a protest track, but a pulse.’ When listeners come away from the song, what do you hope stays with them?

We just really hope they know there is still hope. It’s so easy to feel completely defeated, but there is still so much we can save. We just need to all get together to actually do it. When the song ends, we want that pulsing beat to stay with people like a bit of a rallying cry. It shouldn’t leave you feeling sad or miserable. It should make you feel inspired and ready to move, knowing you’re part of something much bigger.
