Mark Hoppus recently talked with People, and when asked if Blink-182 were writing new music said:
Not yet, but we are about to. [I] literally found out by Tom doing an interview with our friend Toby Morse from H2O, saying that we were going to start demoing songs this summer. So I was like, “Oh, okay. Cool. Guess I’m writing a new album this summer. Great. Can’t wait.”
Coheed and Cambria received the key to their hometown, Nyack, New York, and performed an acoustic set. Video footage can be found below.

Coachella remains militant about not letting recordings of the concert appear online, but Variety has a good rundown of Green Day’s performance over the weekend:
Green Day is nothing, if not always, a political act. And so of course there was something to be expected as a statement during their debut headlining performance at Coachella on Saturday night, when they tweaked the lyrics of “Jesus of Suburbia” to reflect the ongoing war between Israel and Palestine.
While performing the song, lead singer Billie Joe Armstrong sang, “Runnin’ away from pain, like the kids from Palestine / Tales from another broken home.” The original song lyrics from 2004’s “American Idiot” were, “Runnin’ away from pain when you’ve been victimized.”

You know, coming out of the mid- to late-’90s, pop was really big, you know, boy bands, NSYNC. And I think people were ready for a little more edge and a little more fun. So Blink-182 came around, and I think it was just being there at the right moment when people were ready to laugh. And I think that “What’s My Age Again?” really broke through what was being played on the radio because it was catchy. It has a lot of energy. It had a funny video.
