Today I’m thrilled to share the worldwide premiere of “Burn Me” by Divided Heaven. The band is comprised of Jeff Berman, and the band’s upcoming album Oblivion is slated for an early 2022 release date via A-F Records. The Scottish alternative rock band called Dancing On Tables have returned with their latest single called “Riviera.” In this high-energy performance video, the band showcase their musical chops that led to them gaining the coveted support slot on a recent Catfish and the Bottlemen touring stint. Today I’m thrilled to premiere the single for “Oreo” by Pass Away. This Brooklyn, New York band formed in 2013 in what began as a side project from members of I Am The Avalanche and Crime In Stereo, Pass Away has become a powerful songwriting force in the scene. The band shared this quote about the new single, “This song is named after Oreo, a black cat that I woke up with sleeping on the top of my head on a very early Lower East Side morning. I was in a strange place, laying next to a stranger who a few years later ended up being my wife. I didn’t think I was worth a shit or worthy of any kind of love or partnership at that point in my life. This song is about knowing when to pump the brakes, chill out on the self abuse and let the good stuff happen.” With great hooks and impressive songwriting, Pass Away are truly onto something great here. Today, I’m pleased to share the new music video premiere of “Sleeves” by NOLA pop-punk band Neutral Snap. The song comes from the band’s new album, out this Friday, called Tell Me How I Feel. The band shared this quote about the great-sounding single, “The “Sleeves” music video follows a guy who is totally fed up with the world and everyone around him. We based this idea off of our own feelings of how we went stir crazy during lock down. “Sleeves” is about becoming self-aware with the fact that you are not going to please everyone. People suck, the world is on fire (literally), but this song is super fun and it highlights the fact that we are human and we make mistakes, but that doesn’t make us any better or worse than anyone else.” With so much going on in the world, Neutral Snap may have just delivered the song to help us cope with everything.

Releasing today is a great new music video from a band called 4 Minutes Later, who are from Ontario, Canada, for a song called “Holding On To Nothing.” This song gives off major Simple Creatures vibes, with a bit of pop-punk twist that the band calls “Alien Pop.” About the new single, the band shared:

To us, this is an end of summer type song. The seasons are changing and so are you. Instrumentally we were heavily inspired by the 80’s pop sounds that have been making a comeback and overall, the song gives off this ‘Late Summer, Sunset Cruise’ vibe. So roll down the windows and sing it!

Today, I’m pleased to share the latest video from New England’s finest, Kitner, with their single “Junebug.” In this Dawson’s Creek-stylized summery video, the band wanted to capture the essence of the song taken from their October 1st release Shake The Spins. The band shared this about the video:

”Kitner Creek” came together over the course of a week in the best and brightest parts of New England. The warm and fuzzy “before times” gig was filmed at Big Nice Studios in Rhode Island on a 100+ degree day (thanks to owner Brad Krieger for the use of the space and the ice pops!) The meta “music video brainstorm Zoom” scene, and James going into the TV, were filmed at Brianne and James’s house in Merrimack Valley. The scenes of the band frolicking in and around the beach were filmed on Old Orchard Beach in Maine, which gave us the Dawson’s Creek-style vibes we were aiming for with director Cait Brown and DP Chris Tremblay. We hope the video gives you the same sense of nostalgia, friendship, and fun that the song “Junebug” evokes, and that the fun we had making this video with new friends and old shines through your screen.

Zoon is the moniker of the talented musician, Daniel Monkman. Today, Zoon is premiering two different music videos for the singles “Clouded Formation” and “A Perfect Sunset Ahead” from his debut album, Bleached Wavves, released via Paper Bag Records. Zoon shared this about “Clouded Formation:”

”Clouded Formation” was created from a random sound experiment. I wanted to create a song that didn’t follow any traditional structures but had traditional sounds. I initially wrote a basic guitar progression and added some light leads over top. Then sent it through a ditto looper and had this amazing 30sec loop. I then sent that loop to another reversed reverb pedal and amazingly came across this beautiful wall of sound texture, Which had no real proper structure. It all came together when I designed a drum pattern that fit perfectly with the track and gave it a sense of normalcy.

With a shoegaze sound in the same realm as My Bloody Valentine, Zoon could very well be your next music obsession.

The Portland, Maine R&B/pop artist known as Savas (also the vocalist of Roseview), is premiering his brand new music video today for the song “Pastels.” This song connects Savas to the unique communication we have with art, and is similar to other standout artists like YUNGBLUD with the songwriting poise of Phoebe Bridgers. Savas describes “Pastels” as being, “about the problems and struggles of lusting over someone that communicates through their art and actions. Its lyrics share the more emotional side of dating while the song as a whole portrays a poppy and happier side.” With so much more to come from this exciting artist, there’s no better time to invite you into Savas’ world.
