(“I feel pretty good,” he says. “People love it, they just love it.”) And he’s also looking toward his future. He says he plans to write “a rock ‘n’ roll album” soon — one “that’s gonna make people want to dance, clap and yell.”

Mr. Kartheiser gets to wear an embellished version of the Colonel’s white suit, including sparkling studded lapels. But you’ll have to look carefully to find him in the first spot –he does not act in the first TV commercial, but appears throughout the 30-second spot on album covers, posters and other decorations in the bedroom of a teenage girl seemingly in love with the Nashville Hot Colonel and his chicken.

Nobel Committee Can’t Reach Bob Dylan
The Guardian is reporting that the committee that they’ve been unable to get in touch with Bob Dylan after he won the Nobel Prize in Literature.
“Right now we are doing nothing. I have called and sent emails to his closest collaborator and received very friendly replies. For now, that is certainly enough,” the academy’s permanent secretary, Sara Danius, told state radio SR on Monday.
