New Releases with MusicHarbor
Federico Viticci, writing at MacStories:
For people who want to stay on top of every new music release from their favorite artists, the tools available in Apple Music alone aren’t enough. And I understand why Apple doesn’t want to invest in this aspect of the service: not everyone runs a music-focused publication or needs to know about every single release for hundreds of artists every week. Since the unfortunate demise of Record Bird – the app that encapsulated my ideal new music release discovery tool – I’ve been building a new system to stay on top of music releases, and I’d like to explain how.
It’s a blogception! I, obviously, agree with everything here and plan to take a look at this MusicHarbor app later today.

Sponsor: My Thanks to SupMikeCheck
My thanks to SupMikeCheck for sponsoring the website for the past week. After booking the ad, Mike sent me a very heartfelt email talking about how much he’s put into his music and passion and it really connected with me. Sometimes we forget that there’s a human side to the music, someone behind a computer, late at night after a long shift, putting all of themselves into their art.
SupMikeCheck just released his new album You Never Really Cared to all streaming services. The album has collaborations and features with AJ Perdomo of The Dangerous Summer, Mat Devine of Kill Hannah, Andy Thornton of Flight 409, and Lil Lotus. It also features a track produced by Jay Vee who has worked with Nothing, Nowhere., Shinigami, Guccihighwaters, and more.
You can check out the album on Spotify, Apple Music, and YouTube.
Fortune Cove – “Direction”
Fortune Cove, previously known as Harbours, recently dropped a new single called “Direction.” Listening to the single was my first introduction to the band. It was until high school when I started to dive into the pop-punk scene now and while I feel like it might be a genre that I’ve mostly grown out of, “Direction” has an energy to it that I couldn’t ignore.
Holy Pinto – “Malady” (Song Premiere)
Today I’m happy to share the latest single from Holy Pinto, called “Malady.” This track comes from the latest trio of singles under the Holy Trinity record, and this track in particular reminds me of Interpol-inspired rock. The last song, called Acquaintances, Friends, Love Ends” was released in October, but the current single can be streamed below and it’s their best yet.
If you like what you hear, be sure to buy the Holy Trinity Singles Club.
